According to different pretreatment, the dehydration processing of cauliflower can be divided into steaming, sulfur fumigation, pickling and other different methods. The traditional steaming processing method is to put the fresh cauliflower in the sieve after picking, put the sieve in the steaming room after loading, and generate steam through the water in the pot to achieve steaming. Later, it was improved to use the feeding cart, cover the cart with plastic cloth and steam it. The steamed dishes are then dried in the drying room. This method has a large amount of labor, low efficiency and can not form mass production. It is generally adopted by farmers.

The pickling method was introduced by Taiwanese businessmen in the 1980s, purchased locally and pickled locally. At first, the additive was added to the water and stirred evenly, and then the fresh yellow flowers were put in for pickling. In recent years, this technology has been further improved. The additive sodium pyrosulfite and the picked or purchased fresh yellow flowers are directly mixed evenly in a certain proportion, loaded in a closed container (big urn or plastic bag), pickled in a greenhouse or a place with sufficient light for 24 hours, fished out and controlled to remove water, and then dried. Compared with the traditional steaming method, this method has the advantages of simple operation, labor saving and fuel saving, but this method is easy to cause the sulfur of commodities exceeding the standard. The storm of "poisonous day lily" is caused by various factors such as processing technology, which almost collapses the whole industry.


Since around 2000, there have been attempts to use the belt dryer in the dehydrated cauliflower industry in China, but the design of the dryer and the setting of drying parameters have not been optimized according to the drying characteristics of dehydrated cauliflower. At the same time, dehydrated cauliflower has its particularity. General drying equipment factories only focus on the drying itself and ignore these requirements, Therefore, many dehydrated cauliflower enterprises have caused great losses when launching such belt dryers. At the same time, the original domestic equipment for processing dehydrated cauliflower has defects such as opening, strip, poor color, high processing cost, low output, uneven drying and so on, which has formed an adverse impact that dehydrated cauliflower cannot be produced automatically.

Zlh cauliflower production line is a special production line developed by our company after several generations of improvement according to the production characteristics of cauliflower. The production line includes the completion of the processes such as killing, cooling, strip setting, initial drying and re drying of cauliflower. It has a high degree of automation, good product quality and large output. It does not need sulfur fumigation to protect the color. The products produced are green and healthy.


Process flow of the production line: fresh flowers → green killing → slow cooling → fast cooling → initial drying and strip setting → re drying → softening → finished products → packaging.

According to the processing characteristics of cauliflower, our company adopts integrated design before steaming and strip fixing, and then enters the re drying dryer to re bake the finished products. The strip steaming equipment consists of steaming section, phase I cooling section, phase II cooling section and strip fixing section. During the steaming process, steam is supplied quantitatively according to the material steam ratio through the flow control valve to quantify the steaming degree, The initial drying fixed strip section and the re drying dryer form a combined drying section to meet the control of heat, air volume and temperature in different dehydration periods of cauliflower, so as to improve production efficiency, reduce processing cost, improve and stabilize product quality. In order to make the flower stamens of commercial cauliflower reach the preservation dryness, the outer petals will be too dry, Therefore, the freshly baked finished commercial dishes are softened on the surface by the softener designed by our company to meet the packaging requirements.

The combined drying section is composed of several drying units and a cooling unit. Each drying unit section includes circulating fan, heating device, fresh air supplement system, public tail gas emission system and tail gas reuse system. The process flow is as follows: after coming out of the previous process, the materials enter the drying section, and then enter the re drying dryer after drying. The running speed of mesh belt is adjustable; During steam heating, the cold air enters the centrifugal fan from the fresh air make-up port and is heated by the fin heat exchanger (when natural gas hot blast stove is used for heating, the cold air enters the hot blast stove through the main fan of the hot blast stove, and enters the dryer through the air supply pipe through the air inlet of each drying unit after heating by natural gas combustion), and enters the dryer to fully contact with wet materials for heat and mass exchange, The moisture in the material is evaporated into steam and taken away together with the hot air. Part of the wet air is emptied from the wet outlet and the other part enters the circulating use; Due to the different moisture content of materials in each unit, the proportion of moisture discharge and circulating air in each unit is also different; In the whole drying process, the hot air humidity is also different; In different drying periods, different hot air temperatures can be selected according to the material characteristics, and through an invention patent of our company (ZL 2011 1 0059169.0), the drying efficiency can be greatly improved to make the products more uniform and better color.
